The Ray Thomas Book Collection

When Prof Ray Thomas, founder of Bath University and long-time Chair of RSA Wales & Western Region died, the RSA Wales & Western Region was generously given a large quantity of his books. This page serves to catalogue them.

We hope to sell to Fellows with all proceeds in aid of Clifton Scientific Trust which works to promote science among young people and has particular links with Japan, holding joint Young Scientist Workshops - at Surrey University in 2008 and in Kyoto in 2007.

An indication of minimum acceptable donation will be given. To purchase any book(s) please send your bid to celiakirkby@rsawaw.org. There will be no charge for packing but buyers must pay postage; every effort will be made to eliminate/minimise this cost by sending books by other means - eg via other Fellows.
